Our STory

In 1984, Albert and Monica Hale founded Grace Christian Fellowship with a vision to build the kingdom of God through prayer, discipleship, and witnessing. Over thirty years (and one name change!) later, their son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Melissa Hale, now lead Generations Church with the same passion to see people transformed by the good news of Jesus.

Generations is non-denominational with a vibrant charismatic heritage. We believe that the same Spirit that empowered the first Christians to do miracles and make disciples is still alive and imparts gifts to the church today. We believe that it's okay to not be okay, but also that God loves you too much to let you stay that way. We continue to witness the love of Jesus give hope to the hopeless, heal the incurable, restore broken relationships and liberate the bound and addicted.

From the beginning we've also reached out far beyond our four walls. Through our missions arm, Grace Global Outreach, we've built over 650 churches in remote villages throughout Africa, India, and Central America. We support orphanages, widows, feeding centers, and missionaries in 17 countries; train pastors in third-world nations; and take teams on short-term missions trips overseas. Here at home, Generations supports ministries that feed the hungry and clothe the poor in our community, such as Nourishment for the Needy and Rayford Hope.

And we're just getting started. Come journey with us! Here, no one walks alone.
