Membership is a meaningful step in our relationship together – and for us, relationship is what this is all about!
When you become a member of Generations Church, you're choosing to partner with us in what God is doing for our community, and allowing us to partner with you in what He’s doing in your life. It’s taking the step from passive observer to active participator in our church family.
Membership involves making a commitment in three areas:
- A commitment to God. You are affirming that you have asked Jesus Christ to be your Lord and Savior, seeking to become more like Him and regularly spending time with Him in prayer and worship.
- A commitment to the local church. You are affirming that you support the vision, mission, and values which Generations stands for, that you are in agreement with our statement of faith, that you will walk in unity with other members, that you are committed to serving alongside us in volunteer ministry, and that you will financially support the work of the church with your tithes and offerings.
- A commitment to growing in your faith. You are affirming that you will take an active role in your own discipleship journey by faithfully attending services and participating in small groups.
Likewise, the leaders of Generations also make this commitment to you: to stand beside you as your spiritual family no matter what life brings, to help you grow in your relationship with Jesus and his church, and to help make God’s dreams for you a reality.
